Truly a team effort.
Clio was launched in 2008 by lifelong friends Jack Newton and Rian Gauvreau with the goal of delivering cloud-based practice management technologies that improve the quality of practice for lawyers around the world. Today, they are joined by dozens more who share that vision. From headquarters in spectacular Vancouver, Canada, Clio employs over 130 employees and has offices in Toronto, Canada and Dublin, Ireland, serving the case management needs of tens of thousands of legal professionals.
Built for forward-thinking lawyers.
Produced with the cooperation and advice of bar associations and law societies worldwide, Clio is cloud-based, mobile-friendly, and built specifically for the legal profession. It delivers all the tools that modern law firms need to run a successful practice: calendaring, time-tracking, note-taking, document management, task management, legal accounting, bookkeeping, and billing. Clio also integrates seamlessly with other popular applications such as Gmail, Outlook, Dropbox, Box, and Google Drive.
